Please be advised that effective immediately the Board of Directors of MRTCA has amended the current construction moratorium to exclude the following items.  All Restrictions of Facilities regarding approval prior to construction, materials, etc. still apply:

1)                Snow Caps  (snow roofs)

2)                Water Lines

3)                Repairs to existing structures

4)                Remodeling of existing structures

Items 3 and 4 above must meet the following criteria:

a)                Repairs/remodeling of an existing structure must not alter the footprint of the structure.

b)               The cost of repairs/remodeling of an existing structure must not exceed 50% of the market value of the structure either (I) before the repair/remodel is started (II) if the structure has been damaged, and is being restored, before the damage occurred.

Application packets for construction permits are available in the MRT office. 

Copies of MRT’s By-Laws and Restrictions of Facilities are available in the MRT office. 

 Section 9 of MRTCA Restrictions of Facilities: All construction, reconstruction, or remodel of any structure and/or waterline must be approved by the Board of Directors.  Plans need to be submitted and approved prior to the start of work.  Any revisions to approved plans must be submitted to the Board of Directors.
