Due to Kittitas County Codes regarding the Floodway, The Board of Directors has voted a moratorium on any new permits or fill (gravel or dirt) in camp. MRTCA is in the Floodway. The Caretakers are not allowed to open the gate for any further deliveries as of 5/20/07. I am working with the county to clarify what we can do and how we do it legally.
A few of the Kittitas County Codes that affect us are:
KCC 14.04.010, 14.04.070, 14.08.010, 14.08.015, 14.08.300.
No one is trying to stop camp improvements; we are just trying to comply with the Law. All information will be shared with everyone as soon as it is compiled. Please co-operate. If not, you may be held responsible for being in non-compliance.
