Handmade items are encouraged so all of our talented members start crafting!

Lake Clean Up

The lake clean up committee is putting together a cook book that will be available for sale Labor Day weekend. Members are asked to submit their favorite recipes from now until August 22. All proceeds will benefit the lake. Send recipes to Darla darlamarshall@gmail.com or leave in the office. THANKS!!!

We are selling raffle tickets for the following items at $1 each or 6 for $5:

5th wheel bank

trailer bank

9x9 pop up awning

hand made quilt

(1) 2 hour certificate for Sandi Sandmire to clean you lot

(1) 2 hour certificate for Darla Marshall to clean your lot

(1) 4 hour certificate for Darla Marshall to clean your lot

We also have a swap meet scheduled for July meeting at 3 pm that works like this:

$5 to participate. You bring some items you no longer use that are pre-committee approved. You are allowed to swap for the amount of items you bring. Example. Bring 5 approved items and leave with 5 approved items.

We are also organizing a lunch box sale. Date to be determined.

We currently have $649.68 in our Lake Fund and will be working towards a goal of over $2,000 to purchase 1 or more aerators for the lake. This will clean the lake up, make the water move and not stay stagnant for algae and mosquito growth, and enable healthier fish.

Lake Morel Fishing Rules

Effective May 2008

· Do NOT feed the fish anything other than Fish Food, which may be available in the office (NO cat or dog food)!!!

· If you do not intend to use your fish please clean them and turn into the office. Please do Not throw them away

· Fishing Hours ~ Dawn to Dusk Daily

· You MUST be in control of your fishing pole at all times, no leaving poles unattended.

Please act responsibly and follow these rules. The Booster Club provides the fish in the lake for everyone to enjoy and to help teach our children the positive values of Good Sportsmanship!
